Scope of service
Parallax produces cinematic films from material supplied by the client — typically listing photography, plans and reference media of luxury property, yachts or aircraft.
Client warranties
By commissioning a film, the client warrants that they own or hold the necessary rights to all material supplied to Parallax, and that our use of that material to produce the film will not infringe any third-party rights.
Pricing and payment
Films are priced per project and quoted on enquiry. Invoices are payable in accordance with the payment terms stated on the invoice. Work does not commence until the commission has been confirmed in writing.
Delivery
Delivery is a full-resolution file together with a hosted copy, typically within twenty-four hours of receiving complete materials. Timelines are estimates given in good faith and may vary where material is incomplete or additional revisions are requested.
Revisions
Reasonable revisions are included within the scope of each commission. Substantial changes to the brief after delivery may be treated as a new commission and quoted separately.
Intellectual property
On full payment, the client owns the delivered film and may use it freely across their marketing channels. Parallax retains the right to feature the work in its own portfolio and promotional material unless the client asks in writing for the work to be kept confidential.
Limitation of liability
Parallax's liability in connection with any commission is limited to the fees paid for that commission. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of sale or business opportunity.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
